The Society of Environmental Journalists Announces 2013 Annual Conference Fellows

Thanks to generous donations raised by members and friends of the Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ) through a spring crowdfunding campaign, we are pleased to announce full or partial fellowships valued at $3,500 for six journalists to attend SEJ’s Annual Conference in Chattanooga this fall. All of the applications were very strong. We are satisfied that our final selection is diverse in terms of geography/media market, media type and ethnicity.

All fellowships, both full and partial, cover the costs for full conference attendance, from Wednesday evening through Sunday morning, October 2-6, 2013, including one Thursday tour and all other sessions having a fee, plus full conference meals. In addition, four of the six fellows will receive a $500 stipend.

We invite Friends of SEJ to join us in Chattanooga! Take a look at the agenda and register by August 1st for the best pricing.
