The environment will once again be a prominent topic at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), to be held this year in Washington, D.C. from Feb. 17-21.
Among the topics on the agenda:
- CLIMATE CHANGE, including angles such as national responses, denial, quick fixes, reductions of black carbon and other air pollutants, food safety, impacts on oceans, reefs, fisheries, and shorelines, conservation of natural systems, enzymes and organisms useful in alternative energy, and TV meteorologists.
