"The House [Friday] approved a fiscal 2019 energy and water spending bill in a largely partisan vote that reflected Democrats' frustration with some of the legislation's language.
The House approved the legislation, 235-179, as part of a three-bill package that also contains funding for the legislative branch, military construction and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The $44.7 billion energy and water title ignores President Trump's budget request but includes controversial measures dealing with oceans and the Clean Water Act, and in favor of the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste site. Democratic efforts to strip out funding for Yucca and reverse riders failed."
