"A former regional administrator will temporarily lead EPA's high-profile Office of Air and Radiation, following the exit of air chief Bill Wehrum.
Anne Idsal, the principal deputy assistant administrator at the air office, has been named its acting head, according to a press release this morning announcing Wehrum's planned departure from the agency.
Wehrum stated in an email to EPA staff that his last day will be June 30.
Idsal now could be responsible for shepherding through a number of significant rulemakings, including major climate rules still pending at the agency."
