The American Society for Environmental History (ASEH) invites attendance at its annual meeting in Chicago from March 29 - April 2, 2017. This meeting, hosted by the University of Illinois-Chicago, will feature more than 100 sessions discussing climate change, environmental justice, endangered species, public lands, energy policy, forestry management, natural disasters, and other topics. Plenary sessions will include “Environmental Justice in Chicago and Beyond” and “Nature's Metropolis 25 Years Later: A Conversation with Bill Cronon,” moderated by Patrick Reardon.
Our conference will include a large exhibit area featuring the latest research and scholarship in environmental history and environmental studies. Registration includes all sessions, several receptions, and other events – and a single-day rate is available.
