The Camp Lejeune Community Assistance Panel (CAP) and Public Meetings
Registration is now open for the Camp Lejeune meetings in Tampa Florida:
December 4, 2015: The Camp Lejeune Community Assistance Panel (CAP) Meeting
The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) created a community assistance panel (CAP) for the Camp Lejeune site. The purpose of the CAP is to voice the concerns of the affected community of marines and their families and to provide input for public health activities. The CAP meets regularly and the meetings are open to the public. The meeting agenda consists of a review of action items from the previous meeting, health assessment and study updates, Veterans Affairs updates, and new business concerns. The public is invited to this event.
December 5, 2015: The Camp Lejeune Public Meeting
ATSDR invites the public to hear from the authors of a group of health studies that have been conducted to better understand the impact of exposure to contaminated drinking water at U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The authors of the studies will be available during this meeting to address questions about the studies.
