"Public Lands: Zinke Moves To Promote Access, Revoke Lead Ammo Ban"

"On his first full day in office, Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke issued orders to expand access to public lands and revoke restrictions on lead ammunition and fishing tackle.

Zinke described the moves as a rebuke to the Obama administration. He was joined at the signing ceremony by officials from the National Rifle Association, the National Marine Manufacturers Association, the Safari Club and other sportsmen's groups that didn't closely collaborate with his predecessor.

Over the past eight years, "hunting and recreation enthusiasts have seen trails closed and dramatic decreases in access to public lands across the board," the new secretary said in a statement."
