Arkansas Spill, KXL Approval Linked In New Enviro Ad Campaign

"Environmental groups on Monday announced a new ad campaign that highlights ExxonMobil's massive oil spill in Arkansas last month. The ads will be concentrated in the Washington, D.C., Metro's Foggy Bottom station, which is used by many State Department employees commuting to work, as the agency considers whether to approve the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline."

The Solutions Journalism Network Story Fund, in partnership with the Rockefeller Foundation, is accepting applications for support (up to $5,000) of reporting projects focused on scientific, technological, commercial, or policy responses to environmental, economic, and social challenges posed by the long-term warming of the Earth. Apply by May 20th.
